At Bird Dog Bed & Breakfast, we understand how stressful it can be for both you and your bird dogs to be apart. Traditional boarding facilities often have unfamiliar faces and leave dogs alone at night. Here, your pups are treated like family and receive the finest care in an exclusive, comfortable setting.
Located in a desirable neighborhood near the scenic Kincaid Park, our home offers an inviting, family-like environment. Your bird dogs have one of our two living rooms as their own dedicated space, thoughtfully designed for their comfort. In this warm and private space, Dog TV plays to entertain them, and they have multiple cozy dog beds and furniture to relax on. We offer supervised playtime both inside and outside, ensuring they get the exercise and attention they need. With cameras in the dog room, we monitor them 24/7, providing round-the-clock care.
We specialize in caring for bird dogs because we love and understand their unique high energy and lovable personalities. Our family setting ensures that your pup is treated like family and receives premium care, unlike traditional boarding facilities.
To maintain our high standards and provide an exclusive experience, we only accept dogs with good manners who are happy to socialize with other bird dogs. We keep our clientele small, ensuring each pup receives the individualized, one-on-one attention they deserve while becoming part of our family.
While you're away, we'll keep you updated on your bird dog's behavior and activities with frame-worthy photos and videos taken throughout their stay. You'll have peace of mind knowing your dog is in good hands, surrounded by warmth, love, and personalized attention.

MEET MIRANDA AND HER PACK
With over 30 years of experience as a dog owner and caretaker, Miranda is the passionate dog mom behind Bird Dog Bed & Breakfast. She founded the business in 2019 to provide bird dogs with the love, care, and attention they deserve.
Miranda has a deep appreciation for bird dogs and their unique, high-energy personalities. Her 6-hour Dogsafe Canine First Aid 101 and CPR certification ensures she can handle any situation with confidence, providing you with peace of mind. Bird Dog Bed & Breakfast is also fully insured.
Miranda's own bird dogs, Arya Bear and Mazy Bear, are both Brittanys who work as therapy dogs and crisis response canines. Arya, now 6, is also an accomplished bird dog with extensive pointing training. Mazy, almost 4, is known for her sweet personality and love of birds. Together, Arya and Mazy bring joy wherever they go.
Recently, a rescue Springer-Rottweiler mix joined the family and will turn one at the end of 2024. She's currently in training to become a therapy dog and crisis response canine like her sisters.
At Bird Dog Bed & Breakfast, Miranda treats every dog like family, providing them with a dedicated, thoughtfully designed space where they can feel comfortable and at home.
